Insurance and the Inventory Process
Your belongings are covered by our comprehensive insurance while they are in transit on our vehicles. Cover while in store is arranged against a valuation you provide, so the survey is the moment to tell us about anything of particular value: antiques, a piano, artwork, collections or high value electronics. Declare it, and we wrap it, list it and cover it accordingly. If you would rather keep certain items with you, we will say so plainly at the survey.

Our storage warehouse is our own, built for containers rather than converted from something else, and it sits within a gated, secure yard close to the M55 for easy access from anywhere on the Fylde coast or the motorway network. The site is covered by floodlighting and 24 hour CCTV, and the containers themselves are kept inside under cover, so your furniture is protected from the weather as well as from anyone who should not be there. Only our own staff handle containers, and only when you have asked for something.

Access arrangements
Containerised storage is not walk in storage, and that is a strength rather than a drawback: it is why your goods stay untouched. If you do need something back during the stay, ring us and we will arrange an appointment to open the container and retrieve it, or deliver a single item to you. Redelivery of everything is booked in the same way as a removal, with a date agreed in advance and our own crew unloading at the new address. Give us as much notice as you can for redelivery; short notice is often possible, but the diary fills first on Fridays and at month ends.
